Prague Eruv Status There is currently no municipal eruv encompassing the city of Prague or the historic Josefov Jewish Quarter. Carrying in public areas, unclosed streets, plazas, and parks on Shabbat is not permitted according to Halacha. Travellers should plan ahead to ensure all personal items, keycards, or required medications are carried or managed in accordance with Shabbat guidelines before candle lighting.
